Originally released in 2003, this was my first original game.

It was inspired by Seumas McNally's DX-Ball 2, Beat Ball, and other classics of the genre.

Since it was developed using Game Maker 4, the original build has problems running on new systems.

So I decided to remaster it with Game Maker Studio 1.4, using the same graphics and levels and adding new game modes and accessibility options.

  • Classic brick-busting action
  • Amiga-style retro graphics
  • Control more than 1 paddle at a time!
  • Weapons and power-ups
  • Fast paced and balanced gameplay
  • Over 100 levels from the Deluxe version of the original release
  • Boss battles at the end of each episode
  • New extra episode, featuring a selection of the original secret levels
  • New soundtrack
  • New game modes: Survival and Boss Rush
  • Accessibility options for better visibility

Hello!

After the Skippy's 1st Anniversary/AM2R's 10th Anniversary/Metroid 36th Anniversary blog post, I found all your games and i tested all of them to take a look!

I found this one doesn't work in their Linux flavour. The issue is it's build for 32 bits, and it's looking for 32 libs in the distro, but now many 64 bits distros doesn't bring the libs unless you install it manually, or do other things.

So, i made this, that is like some game distributions (i copied the idea from GOG) made to don't have the issues; It comes with the lastest versions of the libs required and it loads them to make the game work. It's not the best way to do it, but at least it works.

Thanks for the game! Nice little Arkanoid/Breakout clone!

man the music is fantastic

(ノ゜∇゜)ノ♩♪

Thanks!!
The soundtrack is mostly a collection of unfinished tracks I had lying around, it was nice to round them up for a game.

can you put your music to download separately please in please it's too good
